Guns N Roses have announced details of a Las Vegas residency which will begin at the end of October.
Axl Rose and co. will settle into a 12-show stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on October 31st, with further gigs then due for November 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 23rd and 24th.
The news comes after Guns N Roses wrapped up a tour of UK arenas last June. When the typically eventful trek hit Glasgow, the Live4ever Ezine was in attendance to witness the band deliver a well-received performance.
“Even the excitement gets to Axl, for he soon loses a pendant, a twinkling jewel of some description which spills into the front row from his neck, and though he worriedly tugs the mic away from his face and demands its return, a fan graciously chucks it back into the singer’s hands and a mini-crisis is averted (in case you didn’t know, Axl has a bit of a reputation for being a hothead),” our review reads.
“‘Rocket Queen’ is followed by yet another classic, the dreamy ‘Estranged‘ from ‘Use Your Illusion II’, and Bumblefoot, arching his back so much he looks like some kind of demented praying mantis in a trenchcoat, rips off Slash’s legendary solos with ease, injecting the kind of virtuosic vigour into the performance that his co-lead guitarist role demands.”
