Bloc Party have made their comeback album ‘Four‘ available to stream online ahead of its release next week via this link.

“In late 2010, Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong went into the studio,” the band have said.

“The result is ‘Four’ – the fourth album by Bloc Party, greater than the sum of its four parts. The album will be released on the 20th of August but you can listen to the album in its entirety exclusively before it’s released.”

The special player, which has been built by developer Lee Martin, is fully interactive and follows Bloc Party’s ‘four’ theme by allowing fans to create their own group through Facebook friends.

‘Four’ marks Bloc Party’s emergence from a lengthy hiatus, during which time frontman Kele Okereke released the solo LP ‘The Boxer‘ in 2010. Okereke has recently admitted the future of the band remains uncertain despite their imminent return.
