Aerosmith have debuted the video for their new single ‘Legendary Child‘, which can be viewed via YouTube below.
The video features Aerosmith performing the track in a warehouse, and also includes a star turn from actress Alexa Vega. ‘Legendary Child’ was written over 20 years ago by the US stadium rockers and was originally intended for their 1991 album ‘Get a Grip‘, but has now been re-worked for their forthcoming fifteenth studio record ‘Another Dimension‘, which is due for release on November 5th.
In giving fans an update on the album back in May, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry described the new material as sounding ‘modern and hi-fi’.
“It’s really close,” he told Rolling Stone. “We’ve started to mix. We’ve mixed a couple of the songs already, but I guess this week we’re really kind of rolling into mix mode. We have a couple of tracks left to finish up, just to put some overdubs on, but we’re kind of going from the final, final recording tracks to mixing this week.”
“The record’s gonna sound modern and hi-fi. We’re not sitting around going, ‘We’re gonna do Night in the Ruts again or Rocks again’. We want to make a modern sounding record, but the main thing is the energy that the early records had.”
