The xx have unveiled the full tracklist and artwork (left) for their upcoming second album ‘Coexist‘.
The record will be released on September 10th, and has been produced by band member Jamie Smith. Recording sessions began in November, and were finally completed last month. It is the follow-up to 2009’s Mercury prize winning self-titled debut.
In addition, the London trio have also released the first track from the album, ‘Angels‘, via YouTube which can be streamed below. “It’s been a long time since we’ve played you anything new,” the band said on Facebook when announcing the track.
“This song is called ‘Angels’, it is the first single from our new album, ‘Coexist’. We’ve been playing this song live recently, so it feels good to share with you the version we’ve been working on for so long. We hope you like it. xx The xx”.
