Video: The Killers unveil ‘Battle Born’ trailer

The Killers have released a trailer for their new album ‘Battle Born‘, which sees the four bandmates standing in front of a camp-fire as the album’s title is spelled out. The teaser can be viewed below.

The preview follows the unveiling of the title of The Killers’ fourth studio album last month, as they prepare to end a hiatus which the group first entered after the end of promotional duties for their 2009 record ‘Day & Age‘. “In a sense, all Americans are battle born,” frontman Brandon Flowers told Rolling Stone when the title was announced. “Our ancestors came here for something better.”

Song titles already confirmed for the hotly-anticipated record include ‘Heart Of a Girl‘, ‘Flesh and Bone‘, ‘Carry Me Home‘ and ‘Runaways‘, while drummer Ronnie Vanucci told NME last year that the Las Vegas band were planning on featuring ‘more guitars’ on the record. “The next album is going to have more guitars. It’s about time,” he said. “In October we’re going to start recording in Nashville. It’s up in the air who’s going to produce it, I can’t officially say.”

Since then, reports have suggested The Killers enlisted the help of a number of producers during the recording sessions, including Steve Lillywhite and Madonna cohort Stuart Price.
