The first track to be taken from The Vaccines‘ forthcoming second record ‘The Vaccines Come Of Age‘ received its premiere on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show last night (May 28th) and can be heard below.

No Hope‘ will feature on the follow-up to The Vaccines’ 2011 debut album ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?‘, which is due for release on September 3rd. After hitting the shelves in the March of 2011, ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ achieved significant commercial success in the UK, and went on to become the fourth biggest selling debut of the year.

“We all felt it was a really good bridge between the first record and the second record,” frontman Justin Young told Zane Lowe during the show. “You can progress without getting too weird.”

Young also said the band are now ‘putting the final touches’ to the album ahead of its autumn release, while Zane Lowe revealed they will be a part of Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend along side the likes of Jack White, Kasabian and Jay-Z next month.
