Manchester duo Hurts have named former Oasis star Noel Gallagher as the man they would most like to collaborate with in the future.
Singer Theo Hutchcraft was asked the question at last night’s (February 29th) Brit Awards by Absolute Radio, and replied:
“We love Noel. He’s one of the only people who has influenced us to write music and we love The Horrors so much. They really influenced our record when we made it.”
“He’s one of the greatest living rock stars and he’s a real tribute to Britain. He’s still relevant and he’s still cool! The bands all here today wouldn’t be here without him, so he’s important.”
Hurts took home the NME Award for Best Video at yesterday’s ceremony, with their promo for ‘Sunday‘ beating the likes of Lana Del Rey and Arctic Monkeys, while Noel Gallagher performed a string of new and old favourites for the attendees after picking up the Godlike Genius prize.
