Leeds band The Sunshine Underground will tour the UK in April as they continue work on a new album.

Opening up on April 14th at the Manchester Club Academy, the tour will take the trio to cities such as Sheffield, Wolverhampton and York throughout the month, with a final date arriving on the 28th at their hometown’s Cockpit venue.

With the release of debut album ‘Raise The Alarm‘ in 2006, The Sunshine Underground displayed a sound which would later bring much commercial success for the likes of the Klaxons, and enjoyed plenty of critical praise in the process. The follow up, ‘Nobody’s Coming To Save You‘, arrived in February 2010.

After becoming a trio early last year, the band are now in the process of recording their third studio album.
