Peter Hook To Take Joy Division Albums On Tour Next Year

Former New Order and Joy Division bassist Peter Hook has unveiled a series of UK dates for next year after a string of shows in the UK and Europe during 2011.

Peter Hook and The Light will again perform the two classic Joy Division albums ‘Closer‘ and ‘Unknown Pleasures‘ during the tour, which will begin at the Liverpool O2 Academy on May 25th. A Scottish date will immediately follow a day later at the Glasgow Oran Mor, with gigs in Nottingham, Sheffield and Birmingham due for the remainder of May.




On June 1st, ‘Closer’ will be performed at the Islington Academy. The final show is due on the 2nd of that month at the Oxford Academy.

Tickets will go on sale from 9am this Friday, December 16th.
