Adele‘s smash hit album ‘21‘ has today rather unsurprisingly been confirmed as the biggest selling album on iTunes this year.
The album is comfortably ahead of its nearest rival, Rihanna‘s ‘Loud‘, while Coldplay‘s ‘Mylo Xyloto‘ is the sole representative from the world of guitar-led music.
Adele also features prominently on iTunes’ biggest selling singles of the year, with her worldwide breakthrough hit ‘Someone Like You‘ at #2, and its predecessor ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ at #7.
