Foo Fighters launched their Australian tour in Perth last night (November 28th) with a career-spanning set which also included covers of Pink Floyd, Queen and Tom Petty.

The band opened the gig with two tracks from their 2011 album ‘Wasting Light‘ – ‘Bridge Burning‘ and ‘Rope‘ – and also included many established favourites from their long career such as ‘Learn To Fly‘, ‘Times Like These‘ and set closer ‘Everlong‘.

During the performance, Dave Grohl and co included their oft-aired cover of Queen’s ‘Tie Your Mother Down‘, while Pink Floyd’s ‘In The Flesh‘, which the band recently performed live in the US on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with Roger Waters, and Tom Petty’s ‘Breakdown‘, were also given a run-out.
