Reformed Liverpool band Cast have confirmed the details of their comeback album ‘Troubled Times‘.
The announcement of the record comes over a decade since their last studio effort ‘Beetroot‘, and sees the original line-up, led by John Power, returning with an album comprising 12 new tracks produced by John Leckie.
The first single will be ‘See That Girl‘, due for release on December 19th, with its parent album following in February.
“Getting back with the band and working with John Leckie again after all these years apart was just how I envisioned it when I started writing the songs for this album,” John Power has said on the LP. “Then it was all about putting into words what it was I was feeling”.
After the demise of The La’s, Power formed Cast in the early nineties and with the release of debut album ‘All Change‘ in 1995, became a leading light in the Britpop scene of the time.
