Red Hot Chili Peppers have been confirmed to play at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast next month.
The US band have been nominated in the Best Live and Best Rock categories at this year’s awards, and have said they are now looking forward to playing the event on November 6th:
“We haven’t played in Belfast in a long time, so we’re really looking forward to performing at the 2011 MTV EMAs and seeing all our fans!”
It has also been announced for the first time, two additional Belfast venues will play host to the 2011 VMAs, along side the city’s Odyssey Arena which will stage the main portion of the ceremony.
