Slough newcomers Viva Brother have told thisisfakediy.co.uk they believe Muse‘s high production live shows are like ‘polishing a turd’ after the bands’ stage-times clashed at last weekend’s Reading / Leeds festivals.
“We clash directly with Muse, which is possibly the worst clash you could have of the whole weekend, but we ended up with a great crowd at Leeds Festival so hopefully today will be much of the same,” said Franklin Colucci. “If we have a crowd the same size as we did at Leeds then I’ll be chuffed.”
“We’re just hoping that there are some like-minded people that don’t like Muse out there that will come and watch us instead,” added Sam Jackson. “Their live show is incredible. But you know, it’s a polished turd one might say.”
Muse waved goodbye to their 2001 album ‘Origin Of Symmetry‘ at Reading / Leeds this year, which also enjoyed performances from My Chemical Romance, and twin headliners The Strokes and Pulp
