Beady Eye have announced five new UK dates as they extend touring duties in support of debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘.

The band, which comprises former Oasis members Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock, as well as touring bassist Jeff Wootton, will open the tour at the Blackpool Empress Ballroom on November 11th, and will visit Sheffield, Birmingham and Swindon ahead of a final show at the Brixton Academy on the 17th.

In other news, Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has said his threat of legal action against brother Noel may not be over, despite reports last week suggesting the proceedings had been dropped after Noel addressed the disputed issues surrounding Oasis’ aborted 2009 V Festival gig.

“There are a few things which need to be sorted out,” he told BBC Newsbeat. “I didn’t want this to happen. It’s not nice suing your family but like I said, he was telling porkies for the sake of his mates and journalists to get a wise crack on me.”

“If he listens to his lawyers and does the right thing then it’ll be well and truly over. I never wanted it to happen but it has to happen.”

Tickets for the five dates will go on sale from this Thursday (September 1st), at 9am.
