Video: Kings Of Leon Cancel Gig After Caleb Followill Leaves Stage

Kings Of Leon were forced to cancel a gig in Dallas last night (July 29th), after frontman Caleb Followill left the stage mid-set due to apparent problems with his voice.

Not long into the show, Followill expressed his discomfort to the crowd, saying: “I’m trying my best to sing but I haven’t got a voice, I’ve got nothing here.”

The singer ploughed on, but after a rendition of ‘Notion‘, it all became too much, and he left the stage after telling the audience:

“I’m going to go back stage for a second, I’m going to vomit, I’m going to drink a beer and then I’m going to come back out and play three more songs.”

However, once it became clear Caleb would not be returning, bassist and younger brother offered his apologies, declaring:

“Caleb’s just a little unfit to play the rest of the show. I know you guys hate us. I’m so sorry, f*cking burn our records. I don’t know what to say. It’s not our fault. It’s Caleb. He can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible. We would play right now if we could. We’re so sorry. Hate Caleb, not us. Sorry guys.”

Kings Of Leon are out on the road in support of recent album ‘Come Around Sundown‘.
