Exclusive Acoustic Performance: Pint Shot Riot – ‘Somebody Save Me’

Stripped back and unplugged, Pint Shot Riot take their single ‘Somebody Save Me‘ down to its bare bones for this exclusive acoustic performance, filmed at Live4ever HQ during this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and made possible thanks to some generosity from fellow SXSW artist Nikki Kummerow.

Despite being just a five minute walk away from Antone’s, the site of their blistering Thursday afternoon performance at The Brit Rock Bender, this confidently delivered breeze could in fact be a world-away, as the band are left with nowhere to hide when their usually frantic, punk-tinged anthem is offered up in its most basic state.

This relaxed approach merely showcases the tightness which underpins the four bandmates, something sorely needed before any additional pace and bluster can be seamlessly built around the familiar Pint Shot Riot blueprint.

‘Somebody Save Me’ is taken from the new album ‘Spell It Out‘, out now on iTunes through their own label, Life in the Big City Records.
