The Charlatans are to release a new EP entitled ‘Winter Warmers‘, which will be coincided with a March acoustic tour featuring the band’s frontman Tim Burgess and guitarist Mark Collins.
The duo will play 10 shows across the UK beginning in Wrexham on March 8th, and are due for a hometown show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on the 13th.
Cities such as London, Leeds and Brighton will also be visited before the tour is brought to a close at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on March 21st.
The announcement follows an eventful tour for the band last year when drummer Jon Brookes was struck down with what was later diagnosed as a brain tumour during a show in Philadelphia. Brookes later returned to the stage with the band in Birmingham on the last date of their UK tour.
Tickets are on sale now and are currently still available at most venues.
