John Frusciante, Duran Duran Feature On New David Bowie Tribute

Details of ‘We Were So Turned On‘, the new 2-cd tribute album to legendary songwriter David Bowie, have been released.

The collection is due for release on September 2nd, with all profits set to go to the Warchild charity. Amongst the highlights of the new compilation will be New York rockers A Place To Bury Strangers’ cover of ‘Suffragette City‘, which features on Bowie’s classic 1972 release ‘The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars‘, and French singer Carla Bruni’s take of ‘Absolute Beginners‘.
