Keane’s first EP, the 8-track ‘Night Train‘, is this week’s UK no.1 album, beating off competition from Lady Gaga’s compilation ‘The Remix‘ which enters at #3. The National’s excellent fifth studio record ‘High Violet‘ enters at a very respectable #5, and Foals second LP ‘Total Life Forever‘ debuts at no.8. Outside the top 10, Paolo Nutini’s long stay in the top 10 finally comes to an end, with his second album ‘Sunny Side Up‘ dropping nine places to #18 and Jack White’s rock supergroup The Dead Weather enter at #32 with ‘Sea Of Cowards‘.
Rap collective Roll Deep hold on to the top spot in the Singles Chart for a third week.
