A week after the Beatles announcement was made that there would be a single released for Record Store Day, The Rolling Stones have now followed up the feat with their own offer. Recently unearthed track ‘Plundered my Soul‘ from the Exile on Main Street sessions backed by a remastered version of “All Down the Line” from the album will be their single of choice when released on Record Store Day this Saturday.

A side Plundered My Soul, is a track from the fabled sessions, which has never seen release–and according to the latest tracklisting, will be included on the deluxe expanded editions of the album. The B-side, a newly remastered version of the original album track, All Down the Line, will also appear on the super deluxe vinyl, and deluxe expanded cd versions of the album, both scheduled for release on May, 18, 2010.

It seems the Stones are going to take the Record Store Day release a step futher – the ‘Plundered’ single is scheduled to be sent out to radio stations, just like a regular single,  followed by a music video release to promote the remaster of Exile on Main Street.
