The Gaslight Anthem have confirmed the release date of their third studio album, ‘American Slang’. Out on June 15th, the new record will showcase a departure from their last release ‘The ‘59 Sound‘, according to frontman Brian Fallon: “For the last record we looked really into it and we asked ‘What are our influences and how do we jam them in?’” he told to nme.com. “On this one, we’re writing songs that we feel are relevant to us.”
The album will be supported by a short UK tour, which will kick off in Birmingham on June 22nd.
