Florence and The Machine Announce ‘The Cosmic Love’ US Tour

florence-welch Universal Republic recording artist Florence and The Machine is poised to become an even bigger story in 2010, with UK pop/soul sensation Florence Welch and her band about to kick off the most anticipated British invasion of U.S. live venues this year. The spring trek, part of her worldwide The Cosmic Love Tour, finds Florence playing her biggest NYC show to date at Manhattan’s Terminal 5 on April 9th and will culminate with her taking the stage at the prestigious Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA on April 18, performing music off her critically acclaimed debut Lungs. See all tour dates below.

The 23-year-old star played her first U.S. headlining show this past October to rave reviews at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. The accomplished vocalist is known to change-up both her inspired stagecraft and her musicians, ensuring that no two shows are alike, and that the emotive repertoire on Lungs always gets the full-course treatment from her legendary pipes.
