Independent LA based rockers Silversun Pickups have been nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy Award. In the history of the Grammys only 10 fully independent bands have ever been nominated for music’s most coveted award.

Lead singer Brian Aubert explains, “This was never something in our sights. We have never even had a fantasy about this. It just wasn’t on our radar. However, we do feel insanely proud of our label and everyone involved with us. The nod from the Grammys makes us feel real warm inside. We’re astonished, excited, and completely humbled by it.”
