susan-boyleFormer Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle has recorded the fastest selling debut album ever to top the charts this week. The Scottish singer sold 410,000 copies of her new album, beating the record held by Leona Lewis, who had previously surpassed Arctic Monkeys‘ 2005 debut ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not‘.

Boyle also entered the top 10 in the Singles chart this week with her cover of The Rolling Stones’ track ‘Wild Horses‘. Peter Kay’s charity single for this year’s BBC Children In Need is this week’s no.1.
