Y set next EP Enter for release in May

Y have set their next EP Enter for release on May 8th after premiering its lead single May on Steve Lamacq’s 6 Music show yesterday.

“May was written in the run up to an election happening that month,” the band have revealed.

The song weaves subtle political and cultural jabs with imagery of growth and decay, pulling on both public events and private turmoil happening during the time. In cohesion with our previous releases, May keeps a sense of humour – a dance-while-you-cry kind of number – while maintaining our signature sound.

They’ll be out on the road around Europe as the year moves into spring and summer, festival appearances including The Great Escape in Brighton and Deer Shed.
