Wild Beasts will embark on their first UK live engagements for nearly a year when they begin a short tour next month.
Announcing their return from a live break which began after a show at the Lexington in London in December 2012, the band simply wrote on Twitter, ‘We’re coming’, before unveiling the five dates. Those begin on November 26th at the Liverpool Academy, and move on to Nottingham, Oxford and Sheffield ahead of a final gig at the Norwich Arts Centre on November 30th.
It’s thought Wild Beasts have spent most of this year recording a new album in Leeds, with a view to following up the excellent 2011 effort ‘Smother‘. Their live plans for the remainder of this year also includes a visit to Moscow, Russia for a one-off show on December 5th. Pack the thermal underwear.
