Thom Yorke has shared the first clip of his Suspiria score.
Yorke has composed the music for the horror film with the LSO, and the the title-track is streaming online now. It arrives with a solo tour of North America coming up from November 23rd.

Young Fathers have won the 2018 Scottish Album Of The Year Award.
Surprisingly overlooked for the UK-wide Mercury Prize, the band nevertheless came out on top at Paisley Town Hall thanks to Cocoa Sugar, picking up the £20,000 cheque in the process and beating other shortlisted acts which included Franz Ferdinand, Mogwai and Neon Waltz.

Photo exhibitions in London and Sheffield, curated by their regular photographer Zackery Michael, will compliment the Arctic Monkeys‘ UK arena tour which kicked off in Manchester last week.
Previously unseen photographs of the band both on the road and in the studio, a version of the Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino model designed by Alex Turner, posters from this year’s live shows and an exclusive video short directed by Ben Chappell.

The Twilight Sad‘s new album It Won/t Be Like This All The Time has been confirmed for release on January 18th next year.
Following on from their comeback single I/m Not Here [missing face], the album announcement has arrived with another new track, Videograms, which James Graham reveals was ‘the first song written for the album but the last song finished’.

Wolf Alice will bring 2018 and their Visions Of A Life campaign to a close with December UK shows at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and the Brixton Academy.
Already one of the hardest working bands around before the release of their second album in September 2017, Wolf Alice have been touring virtually constantly since then.

Idles and Let’s Eat Grandma won prizes at the 2018 AIM Independent Music Awards, which were held in London last week.
Idles were named ‘Hardest Working Group Or Artist’ while Let’s Eat Grandma picked up the Best Sophomore Release award thanks to I’m All Ears.

The release of New Order‘s Music Complete album in 2015 began a consistent period of activity from the band, whether it be the LP’s remixed version of the following year or the concert documentary which will air on Sky Arts in the UK this month.
Touring however, at least during 2018, has been much less hectic, but they have now announced what will prove to be their only UK show of the year at London’s Alexandra Palace on November 9th.

Paul McCartney has announced some US dates with his new solo album Egypt Station due this week.
With gigs already confirmed for Canada and the UK, McCartney will visit the US in October for appearances at Austin City Limits, and returns in the spring of 2019 for more live performances.
