The LP is the result of an in-studio collaboration with his son Russ, and is being led off with Path Is Long. “Working with my son was a delight and he made me realize a lot about myself,” the former Kinks guitarist says.

The xx and Jamie T are two of the acts who’ll be headlining Bestival when the event moves across the Solent from the Isle Of Wight to Dorset later this year.
“Bestival was one of the first festivals we played, back in 2010, and it had always been a dream for us… we even begged to play the previous year,” The xx said.

The Libertines‘ summer is getting busier by the day.
With numerous festival appearances being announced at the moment, the band have now become part of the Wirral Live series and will play at the 16,500 capacity Prenton Park, home of Tranmere Rovers, on May 20th.

Black Sabbath have posted footage of their final ever performance of Paranoid at their final ever gig.
The last show of the band’s long, influential career took place last Saturday night back where it all started in Birmingham, the end of a UK tour which has also rounded off a hugely successful return for Ozzy Osbourne and the band after the release of 13 in 2013.

Five UK arena dates have been added to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds‘ year of touring.
The new gigs neatly reflect how well the 2016 album Skeleton Tree went down with fans, and include an appearance at the O2 Arena in London on September 30th.

Y Not is the latest festival to have confirmed its line-up for 2017, and is the latest to have Stereophonics at the top of the bill.
The Welsh band are joined by fellow headliners The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club, while some regularly occurring names for events across the UK this summer such as Jake Bugg, Slaves, Maximo Park, Twin Atlantic, Sundara Karma and Cabbage are also booked.

The Truck Festival will be headlined by The Libertines, The Vaccines and Franz Ferdinand this summer.

A general sale of tickets for Muse‘s next North American tour started last Friday, February 10th.
The band’s latest batch of dates after releasing Drones in 2015 opens on May 20th in West Palm Beach, Florida, and move into June at Nashville’s Ascend Ampitheater.
