The xx are doing all they can to make sure their record-breaking run at the Brixton Academy next month will be a truly memorable experience.
Having already confirmed a plethora of support acts including Cat Power, Jehnny Beth and the London Contemporary Orchestra for the residency between March 8th-15th, the band have now released the details of some exclusive film screenings during those dates, featuring some of their favourite films and work from guest directors.
Amongst the films on show will be their own video for On Hold and Gus Van Sant’s My Own Private Idaho on March 13th, and the first digital screening of the All Junglists! London Some’ting Dis documentary on March 8th.
The Brixton shows are part of a European tour which is currently in Germany and which is followed by South and North American tours as spring breaks.
