The Subways share new version of With You

The Subways’ career-spanning collection is out on October 17th.

The Subways have shared a new recording of their single With You ahead of the release of the band’s When I’m With You compilation later this year.

“In recent years we have been playing this version of With You in the live set,” Charlotte Cooper said.

It’s become one of our favourite moments in the show, we love sharing singing the lyrics with everyone in the crowd. We thought it would be really cool to celebrate 20 years of the song by recording this version – we hope you enjoy reminiscing with us!

“Contrary to how the song has always been played these last 20 years, which is with high intensity, we’ve recently used With You as a moment to thank the fans for the dedication to the band, playing it slower and quieter so we can all take a few minutes to reflect,” Billy Lunn added

“It’s such a sweet section of the set, and so we wanted to re-record it for everyone to enjoy it this way at home too!”

Part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, this album’s release will soon be joined by a tour of Europe starting in Bristol on November 5th.
