The Subways release new version of Rock & Roll Queen

The Subways tease their forthcoming career-spanning compilation.

With various singles and fan favourites all collected together and set for release on the When I’m With You album later this year, The Subways have shared a brand new version of Rock & Roll Queen.

“I always think of Rock & Roll Queen as the song that’s taken us around the world, and we’ll always be grateful for that,” Charlotte Cooper said, while Billy Lunn added: “It was punk, it was pop, it was everything we loved about music.”

Dubbed ‘Taylor’s Version’, the track is out ahead of When I’m With You’s release on October 17th.
