The Prodigy were on BBC radio yesterday premiering their new single ‘Nasty‘ with Zane Lowe, and the track now has a video which can be seen on Live4ever at this link.
‘Nasty’ will be a part of the band’s upcoming ‘The Day Is My Enemy‘ album when it is released on March 30th. Liam Howlett has previously described the record as a violent reaction to ‘all that DJ bollocks and tutorials on YouTube shit’ which he believes is currently dominating the dance music scene.
“We’ve always been like a big broom that’s just cleaning up – wiping the floor,” he later told the Evening Standard. “They don’t bother us. It’s mainly DJs. If the dance scene is made up of DJs, that don’t bother us.”
Already confirmed as one of the main acts for this year’s Isle Of Wight festival, The Prodigy have now unveiled the details of a UK tour which will take in ten dates during May, including two nights at the Alexandra Palace in London.
