The Prodigy brought the first day of Sonisphere 2014 to an end last night (July 4th), marrying modern classics with, as promised, a sprinkling of new material set to feature on their sixth album.
The band hit the ground running with their 1996 UK number one single ‘Breathe‘, while the second chart topper from the same year, ‘Firestarter‘, was also aired.
Sonisphere has returned this summer to celebrate 40 years of rock concerts at Knebworth Park. Iron Maiden and Metallica are due up as headliners tonight and tomorrow.
