The Darkness will also reissue their debut album later this year.
The Darkness have added another six dates to their UK and Ireland tour which is set to mark 20 years of Permission To Land after the sold out signs went up on the original run.
With the tour still due to start in Belfast on December 2nd, it will now also visit Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham and Brighton, while the London Roundhouse is new in to host the closing night on December 22nd.
“We are delighted to announce that we’ll be hitting the road in the UK once again,” Justin Hawkins has said.
“To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Permission to Land, our set will include every song from our debut album faithfully reproduced (with additional clam notes and meanderings) in the order in which they appear on the record.”
We’ll also play all of your favourite Darkness songs from the rest of our illustrious and tipsy turvy career. It will be the best show you’ll see this year. I should know, I’m the singer and also a YouTube music expert.
