Steve Mason, Biffy Clyro and Chvrches are among the acts to have survived the cut for this year’s Scottish Album Of The Year award.
An initial longlist of 20 has now been whittled down to 10 after a public vote, with Steve Mason’s sublime ‘Monkey Minds In The Devil’s Time‘, Biffy Clyro’s double album ‘Opposites‘ and Chvrches’ debut ‘The Bones Of What You Believe‘ among those still in the running.
The recipient of the third annual Scottish Album Of The Year award will be announced at the Barrowland Ballroom on June 19th, with the winner collecting a cheque for £20,000.
