Robert Plant will be at this year’s BluesFest, which takes place at The O2 in London between October 28th-30th.
Plant has agreed to be one of several special guests when former Rolling Stones bass player Bill Wyman plays an 80th birthday concert at the venue on Friday, October 28th. “This Bill Wyman concert is shaping up to be one of the gigs of the year,” BluesFest director Leo Green believes.
“The addition of Robert Plant to an already monumental line-up is a clear indicator of the vast influence this incredible musician has had on the music world and we’re delighted that he’s chosen to celebrate this milestone birthday with us – who knows who else might turn up on the night to jump up on stage.”
Some of the other BlueFest performances include Van Morrison and Jeff Beck on the Sunday, and Bad Company and Richie Sambora on the Saturday.
