
Pink Floyd’s ninth studio album is 50 years old.
Pink Floyd will be on top of the UK Record Store Chart for Christmas after the anniversary re-release of their 1975 album Wish You Were Here.
It leads a Top 5 which also includes Geese, The Rolling Stones, The Lottery Winners and Olivia Dean, while Lily Allen debuts at #6 with West End Girl.
Elsewhere, She & Him are back in the chart with their popular festival album, and two of the year’s mainstays – Fontaines DC’s Romance and Sam Fender’s People Watching – are together at #10 and #11 respectively.
