Ahead of their record-breaking residency at the Brixton Academy in London, Live4ever’s Gary Mather caught The xx live in Manchester earlier this week.

The residency starts tomorrow and keeps the band in London until March 15th. From then, there’s time for one more UK show in Cardiff before South American dates follow at the end of the month.
And in April, the Coachella Festival heralds the opening of North American dates which continue through to May 26th.
