2016 has witnessed the reformation of Black Grape continuing through more live shows and a reissue of their 1995 album It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah. At the Electric Brixton in London on December 7th was Live4ever’s Alberto Pezzali for today’s gallery.

Marking its 21st anniversary, It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah was re-released last month with the original album, b-sides, remixes, live tracks from a 1996 Brixton Academy performance and a DVD featuring official music videos, Top Of The Pops and Later…With Jools Holland appearances and a 20-page booklet with sleevenotes by Paolo Hewitt all packed up.
The band are being supported on the tour by Alias Kid, whose frontman Maz told Live4ever of their influence during our Presents feature. “There are other Manchester bands like the Happy Mondays, Black Grape, the Stone Roses and loads more that influenced us too,” he said. “I can’t list all the influences though, I love loads of bands.”
