Parquet Courts‘ new album is out today (April 8th), yet it feels like we’ve already heard most of it. As if to hammer that point home entirely, the band have now made title-track ‘Human Performance‘ available for streaming on YouTube.
The album has been described as reflecting the, ‘unavoidable noise of NYC that can be maddening, the kind of the impossible struggle against clutter, whether it’s physical or mental or social’, and is to be brought to life in the UK soon, beginning at Field Day in London on June 12th.
Headline dates then start on June 14th in Bristol and move on to Liverpool, Edinburgh and Leeds ahead of the closing show at the Manchester Gorilla on June 18th.
