Noel Gallagher and The Prodigy yesterday (July 12th) closed out the first T In The Park to be held at Strathallan Castle.
Gallagher has a long history with the event going back to its earliest years, but was headlining for the first time as a solo act and ended proceedings on the Main Stage with a set as ever comprising favourites from his two solo album and enduring Oasis anthems such as ‘Champagne Supernova‘ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger‘.
While the artists went down well, it seems for some T In The Park 2015 will be remembered instead for logistical problems and apparent poor organisation at its new home. The Daily Record quotes numerous accounts of festival-goers struggling to exit the site on Saturday after heavy rain, while a barrier had to be opened due to crowd congestion during The Proclaimers‘ performance that same day.
