Noel Gallagher made his solo debut as a UK festival headliner at Calling in London on Saturday (July 4th).
Currently on the European festival circuit in support of his second High Flying Birds album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘, Gallagher topped Calling with a slightly re-jigged setlist, which opened with the 2011 self-titled solo debut track ‘Everybody’s On The Run‘ and also included acoustic versions of the Oasis favourites ‘Fade Away‘, ‘Champagne Supernova‘, ‘Whatever‘ and ‘The Masterplan‘, while he was accompanied by his band on the perennial closer ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger‘.
Gallagher will be topping a British festival this weekend too when he joins The Libertines and Kasabian at T In The Park.
