Neil Young has unveiled a track entitled ‘Who’s Gonna Stand Up?‘, charged with politically potent themes and taken from his just-announced new album ‘Storeytone‘. Have a listen below.
Young has been busy with Crazy Horse since 2013, but will be back on his own trail once again with his second album of this year in November.
“This is how I feel about what is going on in OUR world,” Young has said of the song. “You can learn here. I’m giving you permission to please use this music in videos, clips and communications, or in any way you see fit during this critical time. I hope this music can assist you in the important work we do to reach out for understanding and action in the world.”
Young is backed by a 92-piece orchestra on the LP and is following ‘A Letter Home‘, which was recorded at Jack White’s Third Man Records base in Nashville and issued in April.
