More of Marika Hackman‘s debut album ‘We Slept At Last‘ has been revealed.
The highlight so far has got to be the anthemic ‘Animal Fear‘, but there’s also been ‘Drown’, ‘Ophelia’, ‘Before I Sleep’ and ‘Claude’s Girl’, and now ‘Open Wide’ can be added to that list ahead of the LP’s release in a couple of Mondays’ time.
Meanwhile, a tour of the UK starts next month at The Musician in Leicester on March 23rd. It’s on to the Hull Adelphi from there with more shows in Stoke, Birmingham, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and London before the end of that month.
April begins with a visit to the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, now just about the city’s busiest live music venue since the Cockpit’s closure last year, while the final date comes on April 15th in Southampton.
