Herbie May’s track has been released via Red Licorice Records.
Herbie May has unveiled his debut solo track Bleeding complete with production work from his Lounge Society bandmate Archie Dewis and The Strokes cohort Gordon Raphael.
“I’ve spent 18 months not drinking, not taking any substances, not going out very much,” May has reflected.
Just reading, writing and thinking. Just trying to make sense of the way we’re forced to exist now. These songs are the first results of that process. And then I got this chance to put them out and to play them live. It’s a terrifying idea but also absolutely necessary.
After this limited edition vinyl release, May will be supporting XGENERATIONX on tour around the UK this month for their shows in London, Newcastle, Glasgow, Hull, Liverpool and Colchester.
