Little Barrie by Lee Vincent Grubb
Little Barrie share more from the forthcoming album ‘Gravity Freeze’.
It Isn’t Soul is musically inspired by The Budos Band, Barrie Cadogan has revealed of the new single from Little Barrie.
“I love the dark menace in their music and how it still grooves,” he continued. “I wanted to try and write a song around a riff that I could have imagined them playing.”
It’s just a simple song about an increased sense of soullessness from different angles and the sense of feeling detached. Still having a fondness for your surroundings but feeling sadness as it loses some of the things and people you grew up with and loved. Change isn’t always geared to suit us, but good things can still be done.
Gravity Freeze is due for release on May 22nd and will be toured around the UK and Europe later this year, starting at Esquires in Bedford on September 18th.
