Let’s Eat Grandma have unveiled a new track.
Hot Pink is the first offering from the duo since I, Gemini – one of Live4ever’s albums of 2016.
“Hot Pink is about the misconceptions of femininity and masculinity and the power of embracing both of them,” they say of Hot Pink. “It’s about self-expression and appreciation for an underrated colour.”
Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth have also unveiled details of a London gig at at Lightbox in Vauxhall on March 8th.
“Who knows what inputs are making teenagers from the middle of nowhere come up with this stuff so beyond their years, but at times it’s vital, innocent – ‘Eat Shiitake Mushrooms‘ Nostferatu opening two and a half minutes – then scattily fun, as it swerves into cod-rap naffness, sounding uncannily like two girls bogling into their hairbrushes to The Spice Girls,” our I, Gemini review reads.
