Jenny On Holiday by Steve Gullick
The Jenny On Holiday single is out now on Transgressive Records.
Let’s Eat Grandma‘s Jenny Hollingworth has launched a solo career with the release of her debut Jenny On Holiday single Every Ounce Of Me.
It was inspired by, ‘singing dramatic, fun, 80’s love songs at karaoke with my friends’, according to Hollingworth, who added:
I wanted to write something of my own I could imagine in that setting. It’s a song about not being able to help falling for someone despite your reservations about love and trying your hardest not to.
Hollingworth’s bandmate Rosa Walton began her own solo venture in 2023 with Turning Up The Flowers – ‘a song about the world feeling very bright and alive’.
“And the people you love being grounding through this, but also uplifting them to be able to see it,” Rosa said.
“It draws parallels between nature, light and connection between people, with the idea that they are all so intertwined and at the core almost all the same thing.”
