The summer festival season is continuing to take shape today with Latitude revealing George Ezra, Snow Patrol and Lana Del Rey as its 2019 headliners.
These are names we’ve already seen elsewhere as the announcements have been drip-fed this month, Ezra saying for this one that it’s ‘no secret he’s a big Latitude fan’. “I’ve been to the festival numerous times as a performer and punter, so to be coming back in 2019 as a headliner – five years after my last performance – is a real treat,” he continues, while Snow Patrol add:
“We headlined the very first Latitude in 2006 and we are absolutely delighted to headline this year again. It’s a great festival and has a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait.”
These are leading other artists such as Primal Scream and Slaves, who’ll be topping the BBC Sounds stage, and Underworld who are booked for a ‘special closing performance’. Others include Anna Calvi, Tom Grennan, Cat Power and Loyle Carner.
We are delighted to present your first Latitude 2019 announcement! ????
